Output Proportional to Input
Output Voltage: G series are available in multiple output voltages ranging from +/-1,000VDC to +/-50,000VDC
Electrical Characteristics & Description
The G Series power supplies are a low cost source of floating high voltage power which can be used where both positive or negative polarity outputs are needed. The fact that no galvanic connection exists between the output terminals and the input allows one to offset the high voltage by additional voltages. In addition, output current may be measured by placing a resistor in series with the return leg of the output closest to ground. The G Series output voltage is proportional to the input voltage. They are reverse voltage protected and are short circuit proof. The can is internally connected to the input ground by a 10K Ohm resistor.
The input voltage maximum is +24 VDC, drawing typically 250mA at NL and 600mA at 10 Watts output. For 20 Watts of output power the input current is less than 1.1 ampere. The output of the G series is via two insulated wires. The input is made to a terminal pin. They are mounted via 4 blind threaded holes as shown in the outline drawing.
All G Series power supplies are burned in prior to shipment and guaranteed against defects in Material and workmanship for a period of 1 year.
