Oil field equipment is often subjected to extreme conditions, especially heat. American High Voltage brings over 40 years of experience to the design and development of power supplies and high voltage converters for downhole oil and gas applications.
When designing for oil field applications, we account for higher operational performance, ruggedness, and reliability. Among other critical requirements, we employ potting, component preparation, and placement. We qualify and derate our high temperature components for oil well and borehole logging applications. They go through rigorous environmental stress screening to be put into service.
